Nice to see you WE HAVE begun to roll out our campaign to meet as many members of COUP as possible by holding local meetings in the areas where you live. We will continue to do this during both 2010 and 2011 as we build up to another important election. That is the opportunity to vote for two pensioner trustees to represent our interests on the board of the Unilever UK Pension Fund. It took many years for us as pensioners to be able democratically to elect two members to the board. Apart from the independent chairman, the others are either company appointees or elected by employee delegates. We strongly believe it is important that we pensioners have an effective voice by having independently elected trustees on the board. It is a situation we fought long and hard to obtain and we will guard it jealously.
